Updating the ipod touch
Thankfully, Apple added automatic app updates to i OS over three years ago, and had it enabled by default, so you wouldn't have to manually open the App Store, and hit ‘Update All’ regularly. There are pros and cons to this decision - obviously, you don't want your apps to be running older versions which might lack features or even stop working.Through the years I’ve owned a wide rage of Apple products, but it’s been the later generations of the i Pod touch that have been my absolute favourites. They’ve been really underestimated as a cheap entry-point to the i OS app landscape for Android owners and people with technolust. This will prevent i OS from downloading updates in future.Bear in mind though that unlike Android users, you will not be able to individually choose which apps you want to keep on auto-update.This was true up until last week when Apple stopped providing software updates for a three-year old product. The i Pod touch has been the Apple product that I’ve been the most happy with.
I’ve owned three i Pod touches over the last five years.
A few years ago, Apple added automatic app updates to i OS.
This meant that you wouldn’t have to constantly open the App Store, and hit ‘Update All’ whenever you needed to update an older version of a particular app.
It’s the i Phone minus the 3G antenna and the expensive price tag, so you can afford to replace it more often.
Not that Apple has revised the i Pod touch models all that often to begin with.
